Getting Back Right With God...

 About 3 months ago I started experiencing some real deep health issues. Ive been in the ICU twice and admitted over 10 times. I never lost my faith in God but I wasn’t praying or opening my heart, mind, or mouth to talk to God. I love him so much and the weight was there on my shoulders to talk to him. Most times all I could do was cry. Thinking about my mom, and my daughter and my siblings and friends. Thinking about the goals I still needed to accomplish, the setbacks I was in and experiencing. I would get on social media and ask for prayers because I know that would keep the door open to the relationship I had with God. I deem myself as a good person. So I never understand why I go through so much. But I have to start looking at things differently, looking at things like WHY NOT ME? God I want to be the one people look at and say “if he did it for Sy”. So tonight I got back! 


A week ago my mother and daughter and I was in 5 below and she purchased this book for me titled “Be Happy” by Rebecca Ray” it’s an amazing book. I started reading it and it’s very helpful. Along with reading it I got back to reading the Bible and talking to God. Back to praising, standing in for my family members and friends, siblings and my child. It’s never too late to get back right with God! Just never stop believing! Please don’t become a NONBELIEVER. Work on getting back, putting his words to use in your life, opening up your mind, heart, and soul to be used, and to follow the path he has set for you. Please know it’s never too late. 


Mentally you have to choose positivity. No matter how long it’s been, how long it’s taking, everything going wrong, every push back, choose happiness, choose positivity, choose God, Choose his word. Open your Bible. Turn on a song of worship. Turn to a positive book. Try meditation. Search for peace! Ask for patience. Love yourself, Love God. Wait on him. Wait on his answer. BUT WHILE YOU WAIT, STILL WORK, STILL PRAISE, STILL TAKE STEPS FORWARD, STILL DANCE, STILL REJOICE, AND CONSTANTLY THANK GOD FOR THE YES YOU ARE LOOKING FOR, FOR THE BLESSINGS YOU ARE WAITING FOR. No matter how many times you fall all God want is a YES! Know it’s never too late to get back right with God! AMEN! 


I started back in the midnight hour! I know he’s going to turn it around not only for me but definitely for the people I stand in for. When you are down and out, back against the wall, don’t know..... don’t know where this or that is coming from, how this will get paid, how you’ll get through that, when that feeling will die just choose Jesus! Choose to be HAPPY. Choose God.

    This was soo encouraging! Keep going Sy your testimony is going to bless so Many others experiencing the same thing or even feel like this. God’s love never fails us that’s what so great about him

God allowed it BUT He did not ORDAIN it!

 Just because God “allowed” something to happen in your life does not mean he ordained it. It don’t mean it was apart of his plan for you or your life. Living without boundaries so there is nothing there to protect you!

 I struggle a lot with loving others, doing for others. Being there for others, and allowing others to do the same for me. My fear is rejection and I pray everyday I can get past that. In hindsight “no” isn’t the worst outcome. But being so deep in and not having your energy matched in any situation breaks hearts. I struggle with this in almost every aspect of my life. Being in my late 30s I never thought I’d let it get me this deep in. It’s hurting me. It’s drowning me. It’s killing me. And I can’t shake it. I accept so much from people that shouldn’t even get a hello from me. I let people treat me so bad and I convince myself that if I’m good to them, if I’m there for them, if I’m always available my love can change them. Everyone Must Go! Maybe even friends and family.

  As you get older you began to appreciate quality over quantity. Especially when it comes to things/situation like friends/family & support.   Compare your friendships from 10 years ago to now. See a big change in them? 10 years ago I was surround by many "friends" who only deserved the "associate" title.  Please understand that there is beauty, peace and humbleness in the process of losing people. Especially people that's not around you to help you grow  💕 . You may have heard the saying "look around, if you're always losing people then the problem may just be you." And for so long I looked at that with a negative connotation. But if you dig deeper there is beauty in rearranging it the people you allow into your space.
